Institut Supérieur de Formation Permanente

INSUP, Institut Supérieur de Formation Permanente, was created in 1978 as a non-profit association with the aim of “carrying out and developing educational, cultural, social and professional activities as part of life long learning of young people without qualification and adults (jobseekers, beneficiaries of social schemes, disabled and/or low-qualified workers, prisoners serving a sentence, migrant people)

With its head offices in Bordeaux, the organization has grown and developed into one of the leaders in vocational training in the South West of France (20 locations, 200 fulltime employees and about 15 000 trainees a year).

As per its legal status is committed to the social and professional advancement of its trainees. We provide the skills that will allow for successful integration and progress at work and in society. In a world of increasing exclusion, INSUP answers by making the gamble that human beings should be considered as resources and a driving force for positive transformation of organisations and society.

All the training actions are shaped to be a source of motivation, empowerment to generate social cohesion and inclusion into active partnerships at personal, local and social levels.

It benefits from agreements with the Agency for Social Cohesion, Equal Opportunities and Urban Policy and is funded by providers such as the local delegations of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, the Regional Council of Nouvelle Aquitaine, the General Councils of the 12 counties of Nouvelle Aquitaine, the employment services, social institutions.

INSUP is specialized in Open Distance Learning, particularly through its subsidiaries, using software engineering and teaching methods applied to the design of training projects and supports for training devices.

The organisation has been involved as a pilot or a partner in various European and international programs for 20 years (Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Erasmus +, Interreg…) around education and training, key competences, softskills to develop innovative training actions and tools  for vulnerable groups (neets, detainees, migrants…).
