Inside the “Department of Tourism Vocational Training and Work”, the “Vocational Training and Work Direction” manages a network of 13 Job Orientation Centers (C.O.L.), located throughout the municipal area, which offer users a free job orientation service, promote projects to support social and work inclusion, initiatives for the development of employment, active policies for the qualification and retraining of workers and paths aimed at business creation.
The Career Guidance Centers are one stop shops addressed to all the citizens, operating in the territory of Rome Municipality that provide, within the national integrated network of Employment Services, a 1st and 2nd level career guidance service, accompanying them in defining or changing their training and professional path. Two of the thirteen Centers branches are “thematic” and addressed to specific targets of citizens: “Internship Guidance Center” dedicated to the promotion and activation of internships at public bodies and companies and “Penitentiary Career Guidance Center” dedicated to the reintegration into employment of inmates and former inmates.

Counseling meetings and interviews aimed at defining and building a professional project lead by labour market expert counselors
Assistance and cooperation in drawing up and editing the curriculum vitae
Supporting for business creation and in defining the business concept; identifying facilitations and sponsorships for aspiring self-entrepreneurs
Assistance in searching labour mobility opportunities abroad through targeted services
Internship for unemployed people
Thematic seminars and workshops in attendance, webinars and vocational training on job searching techniques
